Below is a compendium of what we offer.

• Standard coverage: We read your screenplay and provide several pages of feedback. This is a cost-effective way to receive an initial review of your work by screenwriters whose own screenwriting has been produced, and to review how your work relates to the film industry today. Standard turnaround is two weeks.

• Complete coverage: Professional screenwriters will read your screenplay and provide a dozen or more pages of feedback, including marketing tips, how your work relates to the film industry today, and other industry information to help you sell your screenplay. Standard turnaround is three weeks.

• Proofread and Formatting Service: We read your screenplay to check for errors and make corrections with regard to spelling and punctuation, and we format the screenplay to current industry standards. This will make your screenplay a clean read, but does not include a critique or substantial re-writing of your work to improve its style and content. Standard turnaround is three weeks.

• Script Doctor: Read, Critique and Revise: This in-depth read, critique and revision service covers plot issues, character development and other key aspects of a good screenplay. An initial read and critique will provide the approach to take a good screen story that isn’t working to a level that makes it effective and dynamic as a motion picture. We also develop pitch ideas and assist with next steps on your way to acquisition. Turnaround depends on the requirements of the revision, but on average takes about four weeks.

• Adaptations: If you think your novel would make a great feature film, we’re here to provide a full screenplay adaptation of your work. Adaptations can vary widely because a novel nearly always contains more material than can fit into a feature film’s running time. Our approach is to key in with the author on important concepts, characters and plotting to distill the very best possible version of the work. Adaptations include one revision based on author input. Turnaround depends on the length of the novel and other factors, but on average takes about four to eight weeks.

Please note: Anyone who has purchased one of the other service options will be credited toward their quote for the Script Doctor or Adaptation service if it becomes a recommended/desired next step.
